There's a kind of hush
All over the Stadium tonight
All over Kingston's National Stadium
You can only hear the sound of XLCR's Supporters
You know what I mean
There's nobody else but those in gold & green
Just the Eagles and nobody else in sight
Looking so bright, looking so bright
Dancing throughout the night

Alumni & Friends:
On Wednesday Night, Kingston's National Stadium was stunned into silence as XLCR Eagle Damor Miller strode to victory in the blue riband event at Champs 2024, the Class 1 Boys 100m, silencing those in purple and "true blue".
Well history repeated itself last night at the same venue, or as one great American sportsman said years ago, "It was deja vu all over again". Yes the stadium was again stunned into silence as The Eagles took the last two finals of the night, the last of which was completed at 11:00pm.
First up was Demarco Bennett, the 400m Class 2 Champion from Thursday night. This time he was competing over the same distance, only now with 10 barriers to negotiate. The result was the same as the previous night, as he charged to victory in 51.70, a new school record, making him the first double gold medallist of these championships.

Wright, seemingly almost disinterested with 150 metres to go, was some 8 metres behind when he started his move going into hurdle 8, storming to victory in 50.70, and winning by three hundredths of a second. Teammate Richard Hall was 6th in a PB 51.87
